The Journalism Support Exchange (jsx.news) is a searchable directory of 360+ journalism support organizations, built to help newsrooms find resources, funders map the landscape, and the field better coordinate. 

Launched November 2025, it was developed by Commoner Company (Darryl Holliday and Anika Anand) and funded by Press Forward. Commoner has been the primary steward of the platform since launch — managing development, maintaining and updating the database, and tracking usage.

The directory now has 360 listed organizations, 111 of which (31%) have been verified and claimed by their representatives. The platform is searchable and filterable by support type, target issue, geographic scope, and newsroom size.
